If there is an opposite to studio photography, it is shooting from the window of a vehicle you are not driving.
Sometimes I manage to get a seat with a good view; sometimes I end up in the middle of the bus and can only shoot sideways.
Either way, it is a snapshot of a moment when you are in transit — when for a few hours you have no power to stop, change speed, or change direction.
A moment when you are surrounded by strangers — mostly tired, occasionally irritatingly loud, with no connection to you or your life, yet as physically close as possible.
A moment when the music in your headphones becomes an alternative reality.
A moment when you become an alternative version of yourself — an attentive but detached observer watching trees, buildings, and road signs fly past.
A perfect moment for reflection, or for accepting the fact that everything you catch on the move is a combination of chance and will never happen again.

A moment you later remember with gratitude — for the solitude that the crowd, without meaning to, gave you.
