It so happened that I live in a city I don’t love, and probably never will. Emigration has its downsides, and for some time I still have to live in Limassol.
This series of postcards is an attempt to look at the city without judgement and with curiosity — through the eyes of a photographer, rather than those of a local, blurred by the heat and traffic.
I’m not trying to fall in love with Limassol — that’s hardly possible. But when I look at these photographs, I know I’ve done everything I could to see it as a strange unfamiliar person: to try to feel and understand it, without any obligation to form an opinion about it at all.
